I'm at the airport waiting to get on the plane. I'm here, but I didn't get here so easily.

My paperwork that I turned in and got approved was lost. My troop handler had it, but he was gone this morning. I asked him about it few times yesterday and he didn't say anything about it. I'm trying to keep my frustration in. So I walk about 10 minutes to go to the other office to see if my paper is there, but they don't have it. Then I run back to see anyone has it. Nope, so I call him directly but no answer. I left him a message about 2 hours ago and he is not calling me back. So I go and talk to the Duty NCO for today, and he checks my request online. It was all f'ed up, and it wasn't even mine. Address was set to somewhere in CA and all the date was wrong, it said I'd be leaving next week and come back in like March 9th. I know for sure that's not mine, but somewhere in the middle of getting it approved it was all jacked up. WTF man, seriously they say they take care of us, but all they do is what they want and fuck people over. If it wasn't the Duty NCO I wouldn't be able to leave and waste 600 dollars that I spent on plane tickets. I swear when I, and if I ever get to become an NCO or SNCO, I won't be like them. I'll treat the Marines assigned to me with a little bit more of respect.

Well I hope everything works out great and when I get back I'll start school on 27th like I was told.

Lately I've been feeling just weird. I didn't realize until now it's just the feeling of losing connection with my old friends. I know I am making new friends, but at the same time I'm losing 'em. After Recruit Training, MCT and now here, I've been almost inactive with communication, and now trying to start a conversation with friends always just ends up being something like "how are you" - "I'm good, you?" - "same here..." It cannot continue from then because only thing you have with them is the past. My father once told me when I told him how I was feeling, that it's nature of things, and that friends come and go.. College students will only talk about things relating to their business as will whoever joined the Military and/or the work forces. I don't want to believe that he is right, but I'm seeing that it is. hahah, lately I'm realizing a lot of things that I once knew but never actually felt to heart. It hurts to go through all these crap, and I'm amazed that how my parents and even grandparents went through all those losses and suffering. I now have even more respect toward them. They are the BAMFs. lol. I have got a lot to learn to grow up.
